Engagement

It all started with a blind date on a rainy Saturday night in February 2016. The only thing known about each other was first names and a rough age range. Desiree spent the week before putting her "investigation" skills to work, trying to find out all she could with the limited information she had but came up empty handed. Pedro arrived first and she was just a few minutes behind him. There was an instant spark at first introduction. Conversation flowed naturally, laughter came easily, time went by quickly. As dinner was coming to an end, Desiree was hoping the night would continue but Pedro was a perfect gentleman, and a bit of a tease, by calling it a night by 9:30 but promising a second date. A man of his word, the second date was planned for a week later. Soon, planned date nights turned into several times a week dinners, couch nights with take out, roomies trying to share closet space (the battle still continues!) and now, since July 29, 2018, excitingly waiting to spend the rest of their lives together!
